Default modification of child support

My 18 year old son is a full time student and has now taken his own apartment. He works a part-time job and I receive child support for him. I would like to know if child support will still continue since he no longer resides in my home and what responsibilities I have if any since he has moved out. Am I required to give him support monies based on my income also? Can his father request modification of child support under these circumstances. I need to know the legal responsibility I have. Since I aksed him to move out is it best for me to get him enacipated?
