I own a mobile home and rent a space in a park in unincorporated LA County. The park converted to condo-style ownership 2 years ago. I didn't buy my lot and I have only a month to month rental agreement (lease expired and owners did not offer a new lease). Owner wants double the price for my lot than it cost at time of conversion. They also made up a rule (tell me if this is legal) that if I sell my home the next owner cannot sell it again until he/she buys the lot. They have destroyed the marketability of my house and priced me out of buying my owl lot. Signed Over a barrel between a rock and a hard place
google the Landlord/Tenant Act for your state and all the rules will be in there. If there is a problem go to the Department of Fire, Building and Life Safety in your state and they'll be able to help you with your question.
