Hi.
I have a case where the attorney failed to present evidence on the defendant's behalf that they requested. A simple measurement that could prove the accuser was lying.
The defendant was found guilty, and during appeals, the attorney did not present the appeals the defendant requested, the accuser was lying about all accusations of wrongdoing, yet in the appeals, the attorney "admitted" the defendant's guilt (My client did those things, but the sentence is not justified...).
The whole time, there was no contact between the defendant and their counsel, even at the request of the defendant, the defendant had no idea what was going on until a few minutes before court sessions.
The defendant can lose a lot if sentenced, appeals have gone through without our consent and we cannot file any now they have been already filed. Any advice?
