My 17-year-old daughter was in the wrong place at the wrong time! A friend called and asked my daughter to give her a ride home from a party. My daughter and her boyfriend also a minor went to the party place. There was an adult present supplying liquor for minors. My daughter found her friend started to leave and the cops showed up. They took the names of everyone there and said they would send a letter if charges were filed. They asked her and others if they had been drinking. My daughter had not but there were open containers of alcohol all over. Yesterday we got a letter saying that she and a parent must appear in court at 9:30 on Mar. 11. Should we get a lawyer or bite the bullet and pay the fine? Is there any way to fight this? Will she lose her POP drivers license? a mom
