Mice/ant/roach infestation
I have leased a home since 9/2010, where as I signed a lease that states that I am responsible for pest control. The problem here is that the landlord KNEW of the infestation problems when I moved in but I did not know(Which is considered I believe to be a "Latent defect") I believe "Patent" defects are the ones that are not visible to the tenant. The landlord bought posion for me to put down, but it has done nothing.
She informed me on yesterday that she was going to have an exterminator to come in (She gave me his name and number) He does not guarantee his service as Orkin and Terminix does. The landlord tells me that she will pay 75.00 for it this time but not if it should happen again. Even though I signed that I would be responsible for the the control of pest of which I would think that that means "Afer" she exterminates then I keep it clean(AS it already is) for the control. Housing code states that rodent infestation is a code violation. Anyone want to talk about this with me, please contact me. It will be greatly appreciated.Thanks a million.
