Hi. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is agianst the law to lie about a used car you are selling and if so where could i find a copy of that. I recently bought a used car and the guy I bought it from told me it had never been in an accident but I have reason otherwise to beleive he knew. I just want to know if it is a law and I could do anyhting about it because he buys cars that have been in accidents, fixes them up, and lies about it when he sells them. He sells them privately, not as a dealer.
