I am making my last payment on my land this week. I received a "Warranty Deed" from the Seller at our closing. It is signed and notarized and filed with the county. I will be making my last payment this week to the Seller who financed the loan. My question is what needs to be done at this time? What legal paperwork needs to be done by the seller and by me? I just want to make sure the land is free and clear in my name with no liens.

Sorry, But this guy doesn't know what paperwork is necessary. He is not a real estate guy just a farmer.
I am thinking that I need an official form stating that the loan has been fully satisfied with his signature notarized and filed with the county registrar.
