L1A to Green card Application

Dear Sir I am working in US for a Indian Company with L1A visa it is valid till June'04. I wanted to apply for Greencard and I came to know L!A visa holders doesn't need Labor clearance. Ihave authoruized documents and wish to sponsor thru myself (I mean the fee part) as company will not pay for that. Can you please guide what needs to be done from my part on this.
