Hi,

I am presently in L1 and my visa is expiring on Oct 5 2008
I would like to change my status to L2 as my spouse's dependent(who is having L1 and staying in US).

My question is

1) can I myself apply for the COS?
2) Apart from !539, do i need to submit I129 for changing my status to L2?
3)When should I apply for L2? I would like to work till 10/5.
4) before L2 COS gets approved and after my visa expires, can I stay in US? If so, how long?
If not, when should I apply for the L2 COS so that it gets approved some time around sep last week.

Please clarify my doubts.
