Just got killed in court
How do you find an attorney to do pro bono work? My son has been married less than two years. They have a 15 month old daughter no assets. My son works part time his take home pay is $40.00 a week and sometimes less than that is on a second offense dui program and is paying child support for his son of a previous relationship. They went to court today and he was told he had to pay $250.00 a month child support $50.00 a month back child support half of the childs medical all of the day care expenses even though he has people that will do it for free just this part adds up to over $600.00 a month and that without the child support for his son they have to go to a co-parenting class and he has to pay for that he gets his daughter every other week for three days and Christmas night at 5 pm until 5 pm the next evening but she will be an hour away at someone elses house and the judge knowing he has no transportation said that is acceptable. His astranged wife makes alot more money than him and the day care costs she has been granted are for a friend of hers to watch the child. She also has an attorney. This is just for the child part of this mess and they still have to go to court on the divorce. They had an agreement while they were together that because she could make more money than him he would stay home with the child. He cannot afford an attorney and this is just a small portion of the nightmare he is going through. Someone please help. He lives in Bloomington California. Thank you
