Default Involuntary Termination of parental rights

Does anyone know what the grounds are for involuntary termination of parental rights? A little backround : I have full legal and physical custody of my children. The courts did NOT allow visitation. I was granted my divorce under cruel and abusive treatment. My ex lives in FL I in NH. No child support has been paid he has not seen the childern in 3 years. He lost his last two children was stripped of his rights and the children were adopted by their grandmother. However he was in prison at the time but wouldn't this work in my favor? He was also investigated by DSS while in custody of his other two children (NOT MINE) and found to be neglecting them. He has a criminal record as long as Texas all violent. He refuses to sign off willingly refuses to pay support and wants nothing to do with them. In the year and a half that the order has been in place (Child support) he hasn't fought it or the judges order for no visitation rights. He never bothered showing up for the divorce instead opted to send a letter stating he didn't feel he should have to pay child support however he wanted joint custody of my children. The judge laughed. Anyone with information concerning termination of parental rights please don't hesitate to e-mail me. Thank you.

RE: Involuntary Termination of Parental Rights

Dear Mikella:

You will find your answer regarding the involuntary termination of parental rights in New Hampshire (assuming that NH issued the Final Decree) at the following URL:

http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/...-XII-170-C.htm

It requires the filing of a rather simple petition in Probate Court and a hearing on the grounds alleged. From your letter, your Ex will probably default and lose all rights without a hearing.

Very truly yours,

Mark E. Moore
