Section 607.1604 provides for Court Ordered Inspections. It also provides that the "court shall dispose of an application under this section on an expedited basis."

I am confused as to what "an application" is, and what "expedited basis" means.

Has anyone ever proceeded under this section? Is the application formally served? Is there an answer?

I have already made written request for inspection with proper notice. The company basically ignored it.

It is not so simple if you have not experienced a litigation on the matter. The statute provides the frame work and the case law further details the notice requirements and timing.
