Default husband left me on street with nothing

I have been with my husband for 17 years since I was 18, I have 5 children and have never worked really, I put up with years of abuse sexual, physical and, mental... There is a huge story like everyone else in the world has... long story short... He left me in Florida and I was flown home by a friend but he has taken my children (which I have a video I saw on the plane of my husband beating my son), he has kept everything I own and, is using things from 4 years ago (dunno how he got the order) to get an order of protection, won't file for divorce, its been two months since I have seen my children (which I took care of) and I have no money, no food, no clothes and, am homeless.... I have called CPS and the police, he is molesting my 8 year old daughter, no one will listen to me, help them, nothing... I dont understand why or how this is happening. I don't know what to do or where to start first. Please advise.

You certainly can file for the divorce and child custody and support can be decided then, but you really need to speak with an attorney if he has an order of protection against you. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
