I intend to add her to our auto policy and enact an umbrella policy thru my auto insurance company to cover her for liabilty and collision. The cars title is solely in my name at this time. My
Question: If my daughter is involved in an accident that results in severe injury or death and it is found that she is at fault and a judgement is rendered against her, is our primary residence (which is holmsteaded) at risk should the insurance not cover the damages? Are 401ks at risk? What would be the best course of action to protect our assets?
Thank You.
