I'm filing bankruptcy and my lawyer sent me a homestead deed. I don't understand what it is. It has a few things on it that are exempt. What does that mean? My engagment ring is not listed as exempt. Does that mean that they can take my ring to payoff a debt? Im confused and scared. Please Help
