Default help please ! lease-landlord ?'s

Hello. I am desperately seeking legal help-please. I am terminally ill (apt office has copies of doctor docs) and having terrible issues with the office manager at my apt complex. I live in AZ within a large apt community. I've had numerous problems with the apt office manager ranging from major to minor and have never had issues at any apt community. I've been extremely upset since moving into this apt after dealing with nonstop issues and it almost feels like I am being targeted by the apt manager. I've paid rent late and upon paying I do pay the total rental payment + late fees + attorneys fees accrued as specified by the apt complex. I've never asked amounts be deducted and I always pay the total they specify in addition to expressing my thankfulness for their patience. I have to pay rent monthly by certified funds or I would post date checks. Current Issue: After paying rent late for several months I received a letter from the apt manager stating I was to pay rent by June 1 2005 or I would be evicted. My lease and for all tenants living here the lease clearly denotes rent is due by the 3rd monthly. Today June 2 2005 - I received a 5-day notice. ( I ) Can the apt office manager change only my rent due date to 1st monthly through a letter at my door notifying me although for all other tenants whom reside here rent is due by the 3rd? My lease and all other tenant leases state rent is due by the 3rd monthly. I have not signed anything stating I would pay rent by the 1st. ( II ) Can the apt office manager change only my lease because I've paid rent late although all other tenants residing here abide by guidelines in the set lease docs we all sign at the apt complex? ( III ) Isn't this discrimination or aren't I being targeted on some level because out of hundreds of residents my rent due date alone is being changed after paying rent late and they are aware I am terminally ill? I would appreciate any/all help and sincerely thank you within advance for assisting me. Please know I truly appreciate it. Please feel free to email rpaz5969@aol.com Thank you Becky
