I was forced to resign after I call out from work 2 days due to my mother having a stroke, however my manager submitted a FMLA request for me while I was out, and before he left for vacation. Another manager called me over and threaten me that if she call a union rep I would be terminated on the spot, or If I resign I would be eligible for re-hire. I gave her the resignation letter she requested and left the building, I immediately contacted my local union. I had no idea my manager submitted a FMLA for me until I got the package in the mail....which was a week later. Now I'm waiting to see if I will get my job back ...................... can anyone give me any advice please I'm very confused
