Default Help - anything we can do.

My son was tested in vitro through an amnio for Hemophilia (blood clotting). The DNA was ruined on the first attempt but a back up sample existed. That was tested and found to be negative for Hemophilia. From this he was born vaginally but had procedures done and not done because he was thought to not have hemophilia such as internal monitoring (can cause head bleeding) tubes inserted in this throat no CT Scan to test for any internal bleeding due to the birth trauma. Now he is only 4 months old and a recent scratch that bled for 2 hours caused some suspicion. He was retested by a blood draw and found to have hemophilia (it runs in the family). We worry that the precautions that were not taken due to the false results could have some effect later in life (none seem to be now). Can we do anything? There is a 7 year statute of limitations for newborns but what if something happens later? If we can protect ourselves who do we seek? The provider? Hospital? Lab that grew the sample? or the Genetic lab that gave the results? Thanks.
