My mom recently purchased health insurance from a sales rep. He stated on the application that she was a non-smoker even though she told him she was a smoker. Upon being approved for the insurance she retired from her job. She's afraid she'll lose the benefits because of her smoking history and the sales person won't return her calls. What should she do to correct the situation and if she loses her benefits are there any legal actions she can take against the sales rep?
