Have a collector calling my wife concerning a contract signed in 2005.

the contract was never cancelled with Certified Mail in writing, and they are trying to collect 3years of club membership she never used.

She canceled in person less than a week after she signed it.

Here's my question. I signed it on her behalf. We were not married at the time, and the name on the contract was not her real name.

The contract shows my last name and her first name even though we weren't married. Also, I signed it not her..

Do i have any recourse considering it is still in the contract about the Certified Cancellation, but she did not sign it, nor was it in her legal name at the time.
