Glenda was charged with shoplifting and put in jail. Her mom posted $400 for bail. She never heard anything else from the detective who told her she would be getting papers in the mail telling her when court time. She recently had her criminal record pulled up and this is on it that she was convicted of shoplifting. How can she be convicted and she never went to court and she hadever intention on pleading not guilty?
