If my childrens mother had a support order in Wisconsin and we both live in Illinois and she is in prison for 3 or more years, does custody of the children fall upon automatically or do I have to file for custody of my own children, we were never married.

You say she had a support order, but you don't mention custody orders. They are 2 different orders. Did she have a custody order?
