From what I've read and gathered, it is legal to distribute mixtapes for free as long as you are not profiting from the transaction where the company gives the customer. Can you charge for the shipping and handling since you'll be mailing them to the customer. Have you heard of just the mere act of free distribution of mixtapes being illegal?
