FOOD BORNE ILLNESS
I suffered discomfort pain and suffering from eating contaminated food product from a reputable restaurant in June 2003. I was treated at a hospital's emergency room and was diagnosed with campylobacter gastroentitis. I sought legal representation in July 2003. My concern is that up to date my attorney has not communicated with me about any settlement award or anything promising not even a feedback to me from the restaurant's insurance adjuster. When asked for updates he responds with "giving them more time" and he will keep me informed. I am not receiving positive vibrations from my attorney as fas as my interest being represented adequately. Is this standard practice? I have thought of retaining another attorney but have been unable to locate one with food borne illness specialty in Atlanta Georgia. Your inputs and assistance will be warmly appreciated.
