Hello to all.l i figured if i joined this forum, i might get help for my little problem. I live in ft. lauderdale and for the car enthusiasts, you might or might not have heard of the tower shops car show every friday night at the tower shops in Davie. Anyways i'm 17 and my friends and i went to the Flanagans to get some dinner, so we left and we're circling the parking lot because it looked empty....no car show i presume. so after we conjoin and discuss what we're gonna do, we decide to pull out from the parking spaces. my friend pulled out first then i but knowing Florida and its rains, the ground was wet and with all honesty i didn't mean to do it or expect to do but the car's tires just started spinning and i panicked. Due to my over sized rice mufffler it probably sounded very fast and loud but in actuality i got nowhere. Next i know my friend pulls over into another lane and i'm like what is he doing? so i pull over too. I am about to open the door when i notice a Davie police explorer behind me, and i dont know what happened. He walks up and i say good night officer and then he yells back at me " If your gonna drive like a Jack@#$, i'm gonna treat you like one" long story short he gave me a ticket. 316.183 (1) Firstly i'd like to know how much the ticket was for because there was no cost written anywhere on it, and if is worth fighting against. I did not exceed the speed limit and my tires spun for no more than about 2-3 seconds, but it did jerk as i tried to gain control and the officer blamed me for accelerating too hard which i did not or at least had no intent on doing. thanks for reading my spiel and for all your help

I got pulled over in Polk County coming back from Pompano Beach Florida took Highway 60 from the Turn Pike, Got pulled over where Highway 60 turns into a 4 lane from a 2 lane. Anyways the cop was in the opposite direction driving towards me, he bust a U over the grass medium pulled me over out of 3 cars and was yelling and screaming at me, I figured he was pissed because I am trying a 4 cylinder fuel efficent vehicle, I am driving an Acura RSX Type S, Yes I was speeding but maybe 10-15 over he said he clocked me at 23 over with no radar gun driving in the opposite direction so I filed for a court hearing court date is October 13, 2008 I am going to have to put in for an extension on the court day because I have a work related training I have to attend that day but that sucks man.
I was thinking about getting getting a membership to this service I saw online but I wanted to hear from others who have it or something similar to it its a Traffic Ticket Insurance where they pay all traffic tickets like an insurance. It is called traffic ticket buster.

Was going to order that along with my radar detector i'm getting just incase the radar detector doesn't work.

Davie Police have become THUGS in their own right...they should have a website with their pictures on it.

Davie Police are on a very loose leash. "some" are small minded over-sized gym rats with a badge, which is very dangerous.

These guys think they are bullet proof and invisable. The citizens are going to get very agitated when they keep getting bombarded with the consistant abuse of power Davie Pd is costing them.
