Default Fighting For Them

A pregnent girl test positive for drugs on four different office visits. Three weeks before the baby is born the women goes into a residental program. When the baby was born both mother and son tested negative. The day after the baby was born C.P.S. came in and took the baby and put it into a foster home. Why? How? If the mother tested negative and the baby tested negative what right did C.P.S. have to come in and take the baby from the mother? I asked why did't they put the girl in a drug rehab program or something while she was pregnantisn't that child endangerment? In Calif while the women is pregnant it is not considered a child. Also instead of taking the baby to foster care why didn't they give the baby to the father? He and the mother were not living together. Or see if any other family member was willing to take the child. She was on perole why didn't her parole officer step in and send her to a treatment program? also the foster parents they sent the boy child to is a lesibian couple and this is their first foster child a newborn male. On May 9th. the Gay and Lesbian Times ran a picture of the baby with a artical about gay and lesbians adopting babies. I NEED HELP AND I NEED IT NOW. I need to help this girl get her child back. She is still in the program and compling with the courts but they only allow her to see her baby twice a week for 1 hour. The baby was born in February she has been going for hearings and her next court date is in Oct. I want to see this baby home before its 9months old. This is an important time for mother and son. I at least want her to be able to see her son every day. I know this girl and she knows what she has to lose and I KNOW that baby changed her life. The People who took her baby had already had the baby ready to be adopted. They had not planned on the mother had the father fighting to get their child back. They did a lot of underhanded things in this case. I need someone to point me in some direction. Tell me what to do starting with step A. PLEASE PLEASE help me Ramona
