Default Feel like im going through ringer AGAIN!

Well, After filing for visitation and paying Child support back in Aril 2008, It has finally been a final Stipulation Judgment signed by Judge. What a long drawn out nightmare that was. Now thinking everything has come to a close, I was sent a Notice of Child Support Action from the Florida Dept or Revenue? Apparantly my childrens mother has applied for and is receiving financial help from the State and now after going through court and judgement states that I agree to send Child Support Payments directly to her to avoid fees from state to save myself and her $$$ for like gas stamps and unnessesary rediculious fees that add up. Florida Dept of Revenue says whatever we agreed in court has nothing to do with her filing for State assistance and i now have to send my payments to them? Numerous phone calls to this agency and lond hold times(30 min) each 3x!! I visited office today just to be told i now have to file a Motion For Credit For Direct Payments?? Printed this all out and have to jump through more hoops to get this resolved. I received a notice last Friday stating my License Suspension is and propable happening soon. Just when i thought everything was done, this happens. I feel like my childrens mother is double dipping! I work hard and She decides that its in her best interest to stay home and have multiple kids and be unemployed and live off taxpayers. I get sent this kind of nonsense paperwork to run around town and pay out even more? How can this go on? I am a loving father who has always been there for my kids, Just to be continuously put out to dry by ex who knows or has been taught how to work the system! Anyone else out there like this?

I understand that this is frustrating. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
