a fake cashiers check was sent to me for wells fargo witch is also were i bank now im the one that is in the hole and owe the bank all this money, for something that they should have caught in the first place is there anything i can do?

I had the same thing happen a couple years ago. luckily the bank checked it out for me before i deposited it. It was a fake as the man in the moon. Had i deposited the check and used the funds, i would have been responsible for the checks i wrote against it plus any fees associated because of it. Not one thing i could have done, but pay it. Sorry
