I am currently an executrix in KY for a lady's estate that has mineral rights in Texas. In her will, everything was left to 4 granddaughters ONLY. Because of some legal technicalities in the state of Texas, the rights for this is being left to her son, regardless of what the will states.

My question - am I due an executor's fee of what is left to the granddaughters only, or is what was left to the son to be figured in as well?

Just asking for a 2nd opinion.
