Default evicted and no where to go

What happens if a tenant gets evicted and they have no place to go? (Because of disability and old age) Is there anyone that can immediately help house this man? Also- is their such a thing as fraud when one is getting evicted? This is what happend... My neigbhor who is an elder and disabled recently got evicted. The man working for the agancy put all his possesions on the side of the street. THe value of these possessions well exceeded 500 (my estimate is about 5000). When the neigbhors inquired about the situation willing to help store his items for a few days till the tenant could resolve some matters the man working for the agency was deceitful. He told everyone that the tenant went to go get a U-haul to haul all his possesions away and not to touch anything. In the mean time he was conspiring with his friends to pick up all the items because they were placed on the side of the road. THree tucks came and managed to haul off many nice expensive pieces. The man working for the agancy was there (with his mother) removing items from INSIDE the house and placing them in his vehicle. He got away with a TV speakers stereo system plus more items. His justification was that it would be on the side of the road. The neigbhors realizing what was happening stepped in and stored the rest of the items for the tenant. The whole time the tenant stepped out for an hour to walk his 5 dogs in order to asses the situation and his course of action. He never went to get a Uhaul. All his items could have been saved if it werent for the agancy man! Is their any action that can be done about this? The elder got cheated out of many of his possesions! He could have sold the items and made money in order to have a roof over his ead for a while or some hot meals! THe agency worker was deceitful and took items from inside the house!

Default That was outright theft and yes fraud

I really feel bad for your neighbor. I feel so sorry for him that I could cry....I guess I am crying. I don't understand how those people that do evictions can sleep at night after ripping poor helpless people off for everything they have. Did you ever find out any way to help him? Did you call the police? Did you call State Prosecutors office? They will help you or direct you to the proper place. I hope your neighbor is o.k. You can also notify Citizens Advocacy Groups such as the National Citizens Coalition For Nursing Home Reform and they will be able to help and there are more addresses they can give you for immediate help for an elder. Please try the State Prosecutor First and let me know how things are going.
