Employer taking premiums for insurance I don't have
I'm not sure what I should do about my situation. The group insurance that my employer has cancelled my policy claiming that I did not disclose my full medical history. My employer knows that my insurance was cancelled, but yet he is still taking premiums out of my check every week for insurance that I don't have. I asked my employer about it, and he told me that until he had confirmation that my insurance was cancelled, he will keep taking premiums out of my check. I called the insurance company myself to confirm the cancelation, and it has been in fact cancelled, and has been for a month and 7 days. The insurance company told me that the letter that was sent to my employer was the confirmation letter of the cancellation. I asked my employer again about it, and he got defensive, and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. What should I do? I have no idea where that money out of my check is going, only to assume that my company is putting it in their pockets. The insurance company tells me that they are no longer taking premiums from my employer for insurance under my name. What can I do???
