Exclamation Employer committing fraud

I work for a sign manufacturer who has done business with JetUSA for many years. But he can no longer afford the photopolymer, and is behind on his payments to JetUSA.

He decided when a school job that came up specifically asking for Jet Photopolymer in the specs and the job was coming due, to back paint .118 acrylic orange Pantone PMS 483C and raster the surface and then put in the bead Braille and surface paint the sign, hot stamp and ship it to them.

With times being tough and the job market, I and the other employees have had to keep mum. But, the situation is becoming untenable.

He has sold many such signs and he has lied to at least one customer that questioned him on the difference in the signs claiming his was a proprietary system superior in every way to Jet Photopolymer. He has also threatened people with termination if they talk about it. I have had my fill of him and his fraud that he is committing. He sells to customers of at least 6 states regularly, so he is not exactly tiny in operation.

I know what he is doing is a crime, but who do you turn this into?

You can speak with the police or district attorney. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
