Default emancipated minor question

is there a way for an emancipated minor recieve money like welfare or social security? are there living centers for emancipated minors with cheap rent and food? are there counselors and free legal aid for emancipated minors?

Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.

Emancipation means being able to support oneself WITHOUT public assistance - that's the whole POINT of emancipation. Should such assistance be needed, then the minor no longer qualifies for emancipation and it can be revoked by the court and the minor placed back into the care and custody of their parents, or other legal guardian as directed by the court.
