We just bought a small home on 5 acres in rural northern Idaho. There is an easement across one edge of our property that is a one lane dirt road used by all of the adjacent property owners (their properties are also impacted by this easement,we all share this private road). Recently one of these neighbors decided to log his property and now we have logging trucks going by our house starting at 4:30 in the morning. I am concerned that : 1. This increased use will damage the culvert that drains a seasonal creek running through our property, 2. The road is being widened and ground into a fine powder by these huge heavy trucks going back and forth, 3. The noise, pollution and increased dust are affecting my enjoyment of my home, which sits only 40 feet from the road.
Do I have any rights here or am I stuck watching my property being damaged and my peace and quiet destroyed?
