I am married to a conditional permanent resident. She is due to turn in the I751 to remove the conditions to her residency (i.e. become lawful permanent resident) in December of this year. I believe that she only wants to stay married to get her permenent residency. I would like to know what I should do to 1) protect myself financially and 2) comply with the INS rules. Thanks

REALLY!!! I am excited to hear this. He doesnt want to go back to Ja not now anyway. It sounds like an I751 needs filed butyou have to show that you entered the marriage in good faith etc. How do you do that? Kind of hard. This is good news.
