my employer disclosed to someone who does'nt even know me the amount of money i made on my last check. my question is is this against any law and what can i do about it?

I gave my current employer my 2 week notice. I am moving out of state and gave them more than a two week notice. I showed up for work today and they let me go. Is it true by law that in me giving my full two week written notice that they have to pay me for those two weeks????
