My cunning spouse was able to get a TRO against me based on complete fiction. After three long months the judge finally dismissed it. However, she still said not to contact each other. She mentioned something called COLIS or something like it having to do with enforcement. My spouse tried several times while the TRO was in effect to have me arrested. I wpuld like to try to agree to dispense with these outrageously expensive attorneys and come to the table through an impartial counselor as a conduit and then on to mediation. My question is how serious and enforceable is a "no contact" ruling with no restraining order in place? BTW the judge is stepping down and we will be getting a new one in the department. Thanks!
