Cool I deleted former employers website...

I was recently dismissed from work and am pursuing an unfair dismissal claim. While I was employed, I set up and built a website for them & their shop. This was done in my own time at home (sometimes into the early hours) as there was no time while in work to do it. I was not paid anything for doing it. Anyway, I accessed it today and deleted everything except the homepage (they own the domain name) Can I get into trouble for this?
Thanks

It really would depend on a lot of factors. I would suggest that you speak with an attorney to discuss if there is any liability on your part. You can locate one through the attorney locator on Lawinfo's home page at http://www.lawinfo.com/. Some do offer free consultations.

Default I have done the samething once before.

I did that exactly and even better I got paid for it but, still deleated it and went to court and nothing ever happened to me. I look at it like this and it seemed to be as, since we didn't have a contract of any sort there was no way to prove anything. So, it was dismissed.
