Default Court made error?

I was issued an initial order for child support, and also spousal support. Later the case was again addressed in court for a child support only modification, which they did issue. The new orders had failed to carry over the previous orders for spousal support onto that new order issued, modifying the child support. That was several years ago and due my being Pro Pers case when this was filed in court, and never was able to figure out whom I would or could address that error with to find out how it could be revised and correction made. I am now about to return to the court and readdress this case in court for the never addressed finalization of dissolution needed after living separate since the filing of this case in 1998. I am unsure if they would even take the error into consideration at this late date and terrible court system that was all they offered at that time has been revised to offer poor women like myself a little more assistance in getting through that system of idiots. Is it worth even bringing up to avoid the risk I have of my having to be responsible for paying a faker disabled old man? I was told that once it is issued it is not terminated and could be considered still and was all along an active order they failed to continue. Is that true?

Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
