contract dispute threatening
I have worked for 8 years for a company . I have had a stella record and have advances the company growth by millions a year. A few weeks ago I was handed a contract that I have never had before. the contract was very unreasonable ane unfair. I along with 5 others said we did not want to sign it. we were all told to sign it or that was it. The contract basically was all one sided and restricted out severance pay if we leave or or fired. There was much more eight pages of legal bull noncompetes no guaranty of compensation and on. 4 signed after weeks of refusing too. Two of us that did not sign we sent a fax that suspended us for a week for us to reconsider future employment. I went to work to day and I was told I was to sign it by monday or I am fired. I am a senior sales manager for that company and I provide about 6.5 million to seven million in sales a year and I work very hard for that company. any advice out there? is the contract enforceable if I am forced under threat of firing and have no choice.
