Default Contempt of court PLEASE HELP

Ive asked my Ex-wife to pay for her half of the Patent maintenance fees for an invention for which we were both a part of. This past year we are responsible for paying fees which are to be made to the USPTO or we will lose all rights to it as well she has not reimbursed me for any marketing fees for which i have already paid for. All this is documented in my divorce decree that she is responsible for any costs related to the patent/patents and she refuses to meet her end of the agreement...

Default Get A Lawyer Quickly

You have to file and then serve an Order to Show Cause re Contempt. File the court papers, get a hearing date, and then serve her. You may need an attorney to help you. I always advise consumers to seek and follow all good legal advice by an attorney licensed in your state. The reason for this advice should be quite obvious in that the outcomes of most questions very often turn on a small difference in state law.

I agree. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
