I have an appointment for a contact lens exam/fitting...the only way I can get a contact lens prescription from the eye doctor is if I purchase a package deal which will cost a total of 300.00 inc. a 6 month supply of contacts and the exam/fitting...otherwise the eye doctor will not give me my prescription...The FTC did pass a law in 2004 regarding release of lens prescription but is there a loophole that allows them to do such a thing as a package deal?
