Default Is this considered personal injury?

My step-dad molested me when I was young. He gave me herpes and I did not know for 13 years. My mother took me to the Doctor after the first attack and he told me it was probably a yeast infection. At 24 I had a hysterectomy at 26 I finally got an answer on what my attacks actually were. I was told they were a contributing factor in my hysterectomy and also that they were a large part of why my immune system is so poor. Also I now have osteoperosis. My step-father plead guilty to sexual molestation of a child under 16 relating to my little sister but was never arrested or convicted for the things he did to me. Shortly after my hysterectomy I had to give up my job (12.00 per hour) because I was having difficulty with my hormone therapy. My emotions were very up and down and correctional officers have to be able to have steady nerves. Now I can't find a decent paying job. I have children to support. I think my step-father owes me. He has admitted to several people that he molested me. I would have no problem getting witnesses to that effect. I just don't know if it would be worth the time. Also I have been thinking about writing a book about my life and the things I have experienced. If I do this will he have recourse against me because he was never convicted of what he did to me? I want all the exposure I can get on this. I want people to know that the ramifications aren't always only mental. There can be physical manifestations of child abuse too. (as if the mental ones aren't bad enough all by themselves) Anyway adavise is sought. Thank you.
