Default Condominium Association By-laws

The current by-laws of my condominium (located in GA) state that they are responsible for repair to the roof and the exterior of the unit Not interior damages. Question: If the roof leaks and is reported to the Association in a timely manner but not addressed right away. The water damage results in damages to the interior of the unit (ceiling in master bedroom) can the Condo association be held responsible for the damages? By law do they have to pay for the repairs to the interior since it was caused by an exterior problem?

Default Towing of vehicles

The condominium property I live at has a set of by-laws (GA) that states they may tow any inoporable vehicles at owners expense. I have 2 questions: 1.) Is there a reasonable time frame that should be extended before removal. (I recieved a notice on my vehicle at 7:28 am on a Sunday morning and by 10:30 am the same day the vehicle was towed.) 2.) Do I have just cause to file for reimbursement of the towing charges in a small claims court?

Every state has different laws regarding this and it also depends on the wording of your bylaws. I would speak with an attorney regarding this to see what your legal options are. Some do offer free consultations. You can locate one through the attorney locator on Lawinfo's home page at http://www.lawinfo.com/.
