I am concern dad from new york state, my assumed to be ex.wife and I share coustody of our daughter, but however as soon as she left me she moved in with someone alse, my daughter tells me the stuff that dad doesn't want to here like daddy they are fighting all the time and I can't sleep also one of the days of last summer I had her and we were all day on lake with boat. However when we come home my daughter states daddy my butt hurts I want to take bath, after she come out i was drying her of and I noticed two big bruses on her butt. I took her to police department where I live and they stated there is nothing we can do because happend in different county. I called Child Protective Services and they didn't do anything. There is something going on in her mother house and I can't put my finger onit my daughter doesn't want to be there she crys all the time when she has to go back to her mother and states daddy I don't wont to go back to mommy than I ask her why and she states " they argue all the time and momy yale at me and spanks me if I dont want to go to bed when she wants me". Her mother mentally abuse us when we were together and I bolive it is still happening in her hous hold she mentally abuse my daughter. My daughter never use to chew her finger nails and now she does it when she speaks to her mother over the phone when I have her. Almost every time I have my daughter she states daddy can I please live with you all the time I don't want to live with mommy. This hurts me a lot as it would every dad, if anyone knows how can I get full coustody of my daughter in New York State please write me help me out please.

As for the abuse call 1-800-4-AChild and tell them. They have more authority than local CPS. I had to use them once for a friend who knew his kids were being abused and the state wasn't doing anything.
