Default Common Law Marriage

My fiance and I have been together for two years now. We've been engaged for one full year and are getting married in September of this year. I'm having second thoughts and wanted to know if I would need any legal help in kicking him out. My mother owns the house we live in, and we are suppose to be paying her monthly, however payment hasn't began yet. I pay for the majority of our bills with my income, while going to school at the same time. He doesn't bring home much because of a prior marriage's child support. My point is, that even though I've bought most of the things in the house, and my mother has contributed to more than half of everything also, does my fiance have a right to fight for the items we have? Or can I just kick him out and make him leave with the things he brought into the relationship? If so, then who gets the house? Does my mother decide that?
Thanks

I can understand this is a frustrating situation for you. If you are not yet married, then there is no shared ownership in items other than which you may have purchased together (tvs, furniture, etc). Those items may be subject to some sort of equitable distribution, but if you can't agree then you may need a court to assist you. You can find an attorney through the locator service on LawInfo's home page at: http://www.lawinfo.com/.
