Ok I am new here but I have a question that needs to be answered before going into the courtroom with this.

I was renting an apartment which my name was the ONLY name on the lease. During the time I was renting my ex needed a place to stay until she could find a place of her own. During this time we had spats and i made her leave. While at work one night I was informed that the landlord and the towns police department had let her into MY apartment after she had been out of their for almost a month, and she cleaned EVERYTHING out. I called the police and they stated they were not at the residence when this happend although I have other witnesses stating they were and the landlord also denied being there and letting her in which was a lie also because I had BOTH keys to the apartment and the neighbors said he was there during it also. Now after all this I moved out of the apartment because i no longer felt my stuff was safe (what little I had left). The landlord sent me an eviction notice KNOWING i had already moved out.

I am going for a civil suit for all costs incurred in moving along with half the value of each item that was taken from the apartment and attorney fees.

Do you think this is going to rule in my favor or theirs?
