Hello. My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this. None of the catagories seemed accurate to me.

My wife is an employee at a gas station and made a mistake on the math, and inadvertantly sold cigarettes to a minor. There is a mandatory court date on July 1st. She is planning on pleading guilty to this. However, we have never been in this situation before and are wondering if we should hire an attorney for this. Thank you very much for your time and advice.
