Default Children Adopted, Court denies abatement

My children were adopted without me knowing it. In the meanwhile I was arrested for backchild support, paid off the support obligation but the court will not abate the child support obligation. Is there a law to help with this?

You have several issues here that are best deal with at same time. If you do not have an Attorney get one! You might even have a shot at custody who knows

I have an attorney. The plot thickens. The appeal for adoption is in one county and the child support/divorce is in another county. My ex works for the county that the adoption took place in. I don't even live in the state. Can I file against anyof these issues out of Michigan?

You need to be dicussing this with your Attorney. It sounds like an actual crime may have been comitted! Your Ex's job could even be forfeit if what you say is true.

I agree. Your attorney is the best person to discuss this with. Good luck to you.
