Default Child Protective Services

Hello My situation is this a year after I moved to Arizona I decided to look for my younger boy's father. I found him back in the middle of January 2000. He started mistreating my son with profanity belittling him and emotionally abusing him. I tried CPS numerous time before they got envolved. The only reason why they finally got envolved was because someone looking from the outside in called them. One of CPS's professional psychologists performed a psych. eval. on my son and it was substantiated that he was suffering from emotional distress due to his father's abusive ways. But the CPS worker given to me not lied all the time but he set up a Family Assesment to "See how the two families would interact with my son. This was Dec. 16th 2003. On Dec. 18th 2003 my son was removed from his school and placed with the father and made to stay with him against his will--he ran away 3 times and was placed back with the father. Their reason for doing this I wasn't mentally stable to take care of my son. But I have a 14 year old still at home that wasn't removed and he has suffered as well because of what these people have done. They didn't even serve me with any papers when they took my son. I wasn't informed when the court hearing was set or on to dismiss the dependency against the father. I have been grieving due to this injustice. The system failed my baby and myself. I raised both my boys by myself all their lives and now I suffer the loss of a son and have to deal with the pain of another. Every attorney that has read my paperwork or have been explained my situation say it doesn't make sense. The Judge in charge the case allowed the father to keep my son and my rights as a mother have been taken away. Can you tell my what I can do. Sincerely A grieving Mother

Exclamation Cps

FYI: There has been alot of media on the issues of CPS in the newtimes mag. nov,2006 issue as well there is the AFRA (american family rights assoc) and the AFRA (arizona family rights assoc) these mights be some good resources for you. the director of the az family rights has had a similar going with CPS and is very familiar with the "type of things, going on with CPS". I too have been a victim of cps injustice and unlawful acts. and like you attorneys have reviewed and agreed that there has been a lot of wrong-doing and violations committed as to civil and constitutional(state and federal) rights parental rights as well. however finding a attorney that deals in complex litigation and even though they agree to the misconducts, representation seems to be another issue. finding someone that just deals in civil law seems like a task in itself. if you find relief in any of the injustice, please pass it on! because up to this point it would appear that cps is getting away" and the statutes that are mandated dont seem to apply to cps, they seem to be above the law! I would like to see FAIR justice and restore my belief in the justice system in arizona.
